Saudi Civil Aviation: 3 Injured in Attacks on Najran and Jizan Airports

The Saudi Civil Aviation Authority announced on Tuesday that King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Jazan and Najran International Airport were targeted by two attacks on their facilities on Monday evening. In a statement, the Authority said that emergency response teams and relevant authorities immediately responded to the attacks in accordance with established procedures and plans. It added that the attacks resulted in three minor injuries and material damage, with the injured being transported to hospitals for necessary medical care. The Authority stated that it is working in coordination and continuous collaboration with the relevant security agencies to assess the damage and take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of passengers and staff, and to safeguard the security and safety of the Kingdom’s civil aviation system.
