King Salman Directs Regularization of All Yemenis in the Kingdom in Irregular Status

Today, Monday, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, directed the commencement of procedures to regularize the status of all Yemenis in the Kingdom who are present through irregular means, in response to a request from Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council. The Saudi Ministry of Interior stated in a press release that the regularization procedures have begun in collaboration with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Human Resources and Social Development, as well as the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), as a continuation of the sustained support and fraternal stance offered by the leadership to the Yemeni people. The statement emphasized that eligibility for regularization requires holding a valid Yemeni passport, and clarified that the start date and regulations governing the procedures will be announced through the official accounts of the Saudi Passport Directorate and relevant authorities.
