Deputy Minister of Social Affairs Khaled Al-Ajmi Resigns for Personal Reasons

Deputy Minister of Social Affairs, Dr. Khaled Al-Ajmi, submitted his resignation from his position to Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwail, citing personal considerations and circumstances, and requested its acceptance and the appropriate actions to be taken. In his resignation letter, Dr. Al-Ajmi emphasized that public responsibility is not a privilege tied to a position, but rather a trust, confidence, and duty. He clarified that his decision was guided by the public interest and respect for the requirements of the current phase. He expressed his pride and gratitude for the high trust bestowed upon him by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah, affirming that this represented a national honor and a precious responsibility that afforded him the opportunity to fulfill his duty in serving Kuwait and its people. Dr. Al-Ajmi described his work at the Ministry of Social Affairs as a rich experience, marked by various files, challenges, and responsibilities. He noted that working alongside his colleagues across different ministry sectors enabled him to closely engage with details directly affecting citizens’ lives, and to work on developing procedures, improving services, and enhancing the ministry’s capacity to fulfill its responsibilities toward society. He stressed that serving the country is not confined to holding a position, and that national responsibility does not end with the conclusion of one’s tenure. He affirmed that loyalty to the nation and its leadership, along with public service, remain the most important hallmark of every stage in one’s journey.
