Bahraini Deputy PM: Bahrain-Kuwait Relations Are Firm and Under the Patronage of Both Leaders

Bahraini Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa affirmed on Monday that Bahrain-Kuwait relations are firm and robust, enjoying mutual patronage and attention from His Highness the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and his brother, the Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect and guard them.
The Kuwaiti Embassy in Bahrain said in a statement received by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that this came during Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah’s reception of the Kuwaiti Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Jasem Al-Najim, at his office in the Qusour Palace, on the occasion of the ambassador assuming his duties.
The statement added that Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah highlighted the advanced levels of cooperation and joint coordination achieved between the two countries, thanks to the diligent follow-up by Kuwait’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and his brother, Bahrain’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, in realizing shared visions and bringing benefits and prosperity to both countries and their fraternal peoples.
It noted that both sides praised the unique and resilient nature of Bahrain-Kuwait relations during the meeting, emphasizing the importance of building on the cooperation and coordination achieved between the two countries to enhance existing partnerships and drive further development across various fields.
The embassy clarified that both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continuing joint efforts that contribute to strengthening bilateral cooperation and bringing benefits to both countries and their fraternal peoples, expressing their aspiration to expand the horizons of bilateral cooperation in various areas, particularly in the economic and investment sectors, to the mutual benefit of both countries and their peoples and to support the path of development and prosperity.
According to the statement, both sides emphasized during the meeting their commitment to continuing support for the joint Gulf work process and enhancing cooperation and coordination among the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), in order to elevate the level of Gulf relations and realize the aspirations of the Council’s countries and peoples.
The meeting also reviewed a number of issues of mutual interest and discussed the latest developments on the regional and international fronts.
For his part, Ambassador Al-Najim expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Deputy Prime Minister for the warm reception, reaffirming his full commitment to continuing diligent efforts to advance the path of close fraternal relations toward broader horizons of cooperation in various fields, and wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
Attending the meeting from the Kuwaiti Embassy were Counselor Youssef Al-Banwan and Second Secretary Layan Abu Aliyan.
