UAE Defeats Oman and Qualifies for Gulf Cup 27 Final

The UAE national team set up a meeting with Saudi Arabia in the final of Gulf Cup 27, after defeating Oman 1-0 in their semi-final match. The winning goal for the UAE came from a 22nd-minute header by Ousmane Camara, while Saudi Arabia saw a 56th-minute penalty by Nicolas Jimenez saved by Oman’s goalkeeper Ibrahim Al-Mukhaini. The UAE and Saudi teams will face each other on Tuesday in the tournament final to determine the champion of the current edition of the Gulf Cup. Tuesday’s final will be the first in the tournament’s history to feature the two sides since the introduction of the group stage format.
