Trump: May Destroy Iran and Resume Attacks After Midterm Elections

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday that the United States could destroy Iran, noting that resuming attacks on the country after the midterm elections scheduled for November remains a possibility. In comments to Time magazine, Trump added that “the latest proposal Tehran put forward regarding the opening of the Strait of Hormuz was not good enough.” Trump said, “The United States has a lot of weapons, and our position is excellent. We are now stockpiling large quantities and holding them, and we will distribute them to our allies.”
