High directives for the nation's renaissance

Under the patronage of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, and in the presence of his representative, His Highness the Prime Minister, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah, the opening ceremony for the third phase of the Martyr’s Park was held yesterday evening at the Al-Sour Theater.
The Amir’s representative arrived at the venue, where he was warmly welcomed by Minister of the Diwan of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali; Head of the Diwan of His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Thamer Al-Jaber; Deputy Minister of the Diwan of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Meshal; and the members of the Supervisory, Administrative, and Follow-up Committee for the third phase of the Martyr’s Park.
The Amir’s representative unveiled the memorial plaque, marking the official opening of the third phase of the Martyr’s Park.
The ceremony, attended by senior state officials, began with the national anthem, followed by recitations from the Holy Quran. Minister of the Diwan of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali, delivered a speech in which he extended his highest expressions of gratitude and appreciation to His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, for graciously patronizing the opening ceremony of the third phase of the Martyr’s Park, which is under the Diwan of His Highness the Amir. He noted that this event reflects His Highness’s keen interest and constant commitment to the development and growth of our beloved nation in all fields.
Al-Ali stated, “Today, we celebrate this new phase, which represents a rich extension of this distinguished national landmark and reinforces its constructive role as a radiant space that combines culture, entertainment, and community engagement. This achievement adds to the developmental projects built by the Diwan of His Highness the Amir, including the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center, the Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Cultural Center, the Bayt Al-Qasr Museum, and the Kuwait City Motorsports City. These projects span various fields but share a common goal: serving society, enhancing the quality of life, and meeting the aspirations of citizens and all who reside on the blessed land of Kuwait. These landmarks are part of an ambitious architectural renaissance that provides creators and the public with a modern environment befitting Kuwait’s history and future aspirations.”
Highlighting a wise vision, Al-Ali added that these achievements were realized thanks to the wise vision and sound directives of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, and his support for national projects, embodying His Highness’s steadfast approach to elevating the nation’s capabilities. He pointed out that Kuwaiti youth hold a special place in His Highness’s attention, as they are endowed with confidence and encouraged to take initiative, innovate, and assume responsibility, in recognition of their role in shaping the future.
“In light of this wise leadership, we continue to work with determination and steadfastness to realize His Highness’s aspirations and enhance Kuwait’s presence and elevate its cultural and civilizational standing regionally and internationally,” he said.
Al-Ali extended his sincere thanks to the Amir’s representative, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah, and the distinguished attendees for honoring the ceremony, stating, “Your participation in this occasion represents moral support for everyone who contributed to this achievement and serves as an incentive for them to continue working and innovating for the progress and prosperity of the country.”
A beacon of culture, Al-Ali also expressed his deep appreciation to the Deputy Minister of the Diwan of His Highness the Amir and General Supervisor of the third phase of the Martyr’s Park, Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Meshal; the head of the project’s Supervisory and Administrative Committee, Anwar Al-Yatami; the deputy committee head, Khaled Al-Filikaawi; and all those involved in the project for their great, persistent efforts, dedication, professionalism, and commitment to excellence.
Al-Ali said, “They have provided an exemplary model of competence and cooperation, demonstrating the ability of Kuwaitis to execute major projects. Their contributions are a source of pride and honor for us, and their work deserves commendation. We owe them our deepest gratitude and praise. Thanks are also due to the sponsoring companies for their valued support and contribution to the success of this ceremony. We appreciate their partnership with the government and their support for its developmental projects, which reflects a shared responsibility in serving the nation.”
At the conclusion of his speech, Minister of the Diwan of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali, prayed to God to protect Kuwait and its people, and to perpetuate the blessings of security, safety, stability, and prosperity upon the country under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, and His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled. He prayed that Kuwait would always remain a homeland of goodness and giving, and a beacon of culture, thought, and arts, and that the path of construction, development, progress, and prosperity would continue on its soil, realizing the nation’s glory and the citizen’s well-being.
A national occasion, for her part, Anwar Al-Yatami, head of the Supervisory, Administrative, and Follow-up Committee for the third phase of the Martyr’s Park, delivered a speech stating, “Today, we gather on a special national and cultural occasion: the opening of the third phase of the Martyr’s Park. We celebrate a new achievement added to Kuwait’s civilizational journey and a new cultural and artistic landmark, the Al-Sour Theater. These achievements take us toward the future, rooted in our heritage and national identity, and serve as a place where Kuwait’s memory meets its present and the aspirations of future generations.”
Al-Yatami added, “As we celebrate this achievement, we extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the prominent artists, stars, and all participants in this national presentation, as well as the work teams, government entities, and participating institutions, for their significant efforts in making this national occasion a success.”
Al-Yatami concluded her speech by saying, “Perhaps one of the most beautiful aspects of this occasion is that the Al-Sour Theater begins its artistic journey with a production bearing its name: the major national theatrical presentation ‘Al-Sour,’ which evokes the epic of Kuwait’s walls across generations, embodying values of unity, solidarity, loyalty to the nation, and unity around wise leadership. May God protect Kuwait and perpetuate the blessings of security, safety, and stability upon it under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, the Amir of Kuwait, and His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled. May He continue to bless our beloved nation with a path of goodness, giving, progress, and prosperity.” (KUNA)
