King of Bahrain: Distinctive Relations Unite Us with Kuwait

Kuwait’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Jasem Al-Najim, presented his credentials to Bahrain’s monarch, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, as Kuwait’s ambassador to the Kingdom yesterday (Tuesday). In a statement received by KUNA, the Kuwaiti Embassy in Manama said: “Ambassador Al-Najim conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and extended their best wishes for the King’s continued health and well-being, as well as for the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain and its people, in terms of further progress and prosperity.”

Al-Najim expressed Kuwait’s pride in the close ties linking it with the Kingdom of Bahrain across all fields, reaffirming his commitment to working to strengthen and develop these relations during his tenure.

For his part, the King of Bahrain welcomed Ambassador Al-Najim, praising the distinguished bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Kuwait, which continue to grow steadily across various levels. He extended his best wishes for the ambassador’s success in his diplomatic duties, in a manner that would enhance the ties of cooperation and close friendship with the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The ceremony for the presentation of credentials was attended by the King of Bahrain’s personal representative, the King’s representative for humanitarian affairs and youth, the National Security Advisor, the Minister of the Royal Court, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Chief of Royal Protocol. Also present from the Kuwaiti Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain were Brigadier General Muassad Al-Khayyat, Head of the Military Liaison Office; Counselor Yousef Al-Banwan; and Counselor Abdulaziz Al-Fahad.

Earlier yesterday, Ambassador Al-Najim had also submitted a copy of his credentials to Bahrain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al-Zayani.
