Faisal Matar – The Administration of Charitable Societies and Foundations at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor has called on charitable societies and foundations to submit their proposals regarding the executive regulations of the Law Regulating Charitable and Humanitarian Work, in order to leverage their practical expertise in drafting the regulatory framework.

In a circular addressed to the chairs of the boards of directors of charitable societies and foundations, the administration clarified that this initiative is part of the preparation of the draft executive regulations for Legislative Decree No. 87 of 2026, and in accordance with Article 2 thereof, which mandates the issuance of the executive regulations and provides an opportunity to submit proposals on matters related to the implementation of the law’s provisions.

The administration requested that proposals be submitted concerning the provisions, controls, and procedures intended to be included in the executive regulations, thereby contributing to the preparation of a draft that takes into account the practical and organizational aspects relevant to the law’s implementation. It emphasized that the proposals must be specific and directly linked to the provisions of the law, and must be submitted no later than Thursday, October 8, to allow sufficient time for their review and consideration as part of the drafting process.
