First Deputy PM: Our Ties with Qatar Are Historic and Fraternal

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Youssef Al-Saud Al-Sabah, held discussions with Qatar’s Ambassador to Kuwait, Ali Al-Mahmoud, on matters of mutual interest and ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two brotherly countries in a manner that serves their shared interests. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior said in a press statement on Wednesday that these talks took place during Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef’s reception of the Qatari ambassador and his deputy, First Secretary Jassem Al-Abdulkader. The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior emphasized the deep, historic brotherly ties between the two countries and their ongoing development across various fields, expressing his wishes for Qatar and its people to continue progressing and prospering. For his part, the Qatari ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior for the warm reception, praising the deep brotherly relations between the two countries and wishing Kuwait and its people continued security, progress, and prosperity.
