First Deputy PM: Strengthening Governance, Transparency Principles, and Role of Public Authority for Manpower in Regulating Labor Market

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Manpower, Sheikh Fahad Youssef Al-Saud Al-Sabah, emphasized the importance of strengthening the principles of governance and transparency in administrative and financial operations, and continuing to develop work mechanisms to contribute to achieving the Authority’s strategic objectives and enhancing its role in regulating the labor market and protecting the rights of its stakeholders. Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, according to a statement from the Public Authority for Manpower, stressed during his chairing of the Authority’s Board of Directors meeting on Wednesday, attended by board members, the importance of continuing to implement development plans and programs for the Public Authority for Manpower, and upgrading the level of services provided to citizens, employers, and workers, in line with the state’s direction toward developing government work and enhancing performance efficiency. The meeting discussed several items on the agenda and reviewed recent developments in operations and the Authority’s plans aimed at improving institutional performance and enhancing the efficiency of the labor system, thereby supporting efforts to regulate the labor market in the State of Kuwait.
