Crown Prince to President Parmelin: Our commitment to developing relations is firm

His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, sent a letter of appreciation to His Excellency President Guy Parmelin, President of the Swiss Confederation, a friendly nation. The text of the letter reads:

“Warm greetings,

Following the conclusion of my official visit to your friendly country and my participation in the official ceremony held to mark the sixtieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the State of Kuwait and the Swiss Confederation, I am pleased to express, on behalf of myself and the members of the accompanying delegation, our sincere gratitude and deep appreciation for the warm reception and great hospitality we experienced throughout the duration of the visit.

I would like to highly commend the considerable efforts made by you and your esteemed government in organizing this distinguished ceremony, which reflected the depth of our bilateral relations and their character over many decades of fruitful cooperation, mutual understanding, and growing positive momentum. These ties were further strengthened by your gracious visit to the State of Kuwait last February, which received great attention and patronage from His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

We reaffirm to Your Excellency our firm commitment to elevating our historic ties to broader and more comprehensive horizons, and we look forward to continuing our work with you in ways that serve our common interests and align with the aspirations of our peoples toward a bright and promising future. I pray for the Swiss Confederation continued progress and prosperity, and extend to you my sincerest wishes for good health and well-being.”
