Coalition: Intercepts 6 ballistic missiles launched by the Houthi militia toward Saudi Arabia

The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced on Thursday that it intercepted and destroyed six ballistic missiles launched by the terrorist Houthi militia in Yemen toward Saudi Arabia.

Turki Al-Maliki, a major general and spokesperson for the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, confirmed that Saudi air defenses thwarted attempts to target Taif and Yanbu. Al-Maliki emphasized that the escalation and violations by the terrorist Houthi militia would be met with firm resolve.

This came after the Saudi Civil Defense announced on Thursday the activation of the early warning system in emergency situations in the Holy City of Makkah, Taif, Tabuk, and Jeddah, to warn of danger.

The Saudi Civil Defense called on citizens and residents to adhere to safety guidelines upon receiving warning messages from the “National Early Warning Platform” during emergencies, stressing the importance of following instructions issued by the relevant authorities through official channels.
