Saudi Ambassador: We share a common destiny with Kuwait and our brotherhood is solid

The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the State of Kuwait celebrated the 96th anniversary of Saudi National Day on Wednesday, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, along with several ministers, senior officials, and heads of diplomatic missions.

In a speech delivered during the ceremony, Prince Sultan bin Saad Al-Saud, Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the country, affirmed that Saudi-Kuwaiti relations are characterized by steadfast brotherhood, sincere affection, a shared history, and reciprocal stances that have demonstrated over the years that what unites the two brotherly nations transcends geographical boundaries and the narratives recorded in history books.

Prince Sultan bin Saad stated that this occasion, dear to the hearts of all, provides an opportunity to celebrate the homeland and recall the journey of glory and dedication laid by the late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Saud, the founder of the Kingdom.

He added that the distinctiveness of the relationship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of Kuwait, as well as between the two ruling families and the two brotherly peoples, is rooted in ties of blood, affection, and a shared destiny, underscoring the depth of the bonds uniting the two countries and the long-standing history of brotherly relations between them.
