Prince's Representative Meets Iraqi Prime Minister in New York

Representing His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, met today with Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi and his accompanying delegation at the United Nations headquarters in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the meeting, the relations between the State of Kuwait and Iraq and ways to enhance them in various fields, serving the common interests of the two countries and their brotherly peoples, were discussed. In addition, the latest developments and issues of mutual interest on the regional and international arenas were examined.

Attending the meeting were H.E. Sheikh Jeraf Al-Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; H.E. Sheikh Dr. Meshal Al-Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; H.E. Ambassador Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi; and H.E. Ambassador Tariq Muhammad Al-Bunai, Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations.
