Kuwait secures the top three places in Special Olympics equestrian

Players from Kuwait’s Al-Tamouh Club for individuals with intellectual disabilities secured the top three positions in the English riding (equestrian) “C” division at the 10th Special Olympics Regional Games for the Middle East and North Africa (Cairo 2026).

Sadia Al-Ansari, Deputy Head of the delegation participating in the 10th Special Olympics Regional Games for the Middle East and North Africa (Cairo 2026), noted that player Nawah Al-Qassar claimed first place, while player Maryam Dhiab finished second and player Abdullah Al-Ali took third, amid competition from Egyptian athletes.

She added that player Basma Al-Basili competed in the show jumping event and received a participation medal after her horse failed to clear three courses, expressing hope for achieving more positive results in the remaining competitions of the Games.
