Commercial Bank Sponsors School Visits in Collaboration with Farwaniya Governorate

As part of the bank’s ongoing cooperation with Kuwait’s various governorates under its social program, which focuses on sponsoring events organized by civil society institutions—including the six governorates—and driven by its belief in the importance of supporting and sponsoring educational activities that enhance students’ academic experience at the start of the new school year, the bank sponsored school visits conducted by the Governor of Farwaniya, Sheikh Adbi Nasser Al-Adbi Al-Sabah.

In coordination with the Farwaniya Governorate and the Farwaniya Education Directorate, these school visits were attended by the Governor of Farwaniya, Sheikh Adbi Nasser Al-Adbi Al-Sabah, as well as Amani Al-Wara’, Deputy General Manager of the Corporate Communications Sector at Kuwait Finance House (KFH), and the “KFH Team.” The bank sponsored visits to Al-Abdulrahman Ali Al-Bedah Primary School (boys) and Al-Mutawa Halima Primary School (girls), located in the West Abdullah Al-Mubarak area, to mark the return to classes. The initiative aimed to celebrate the start of the new school year with students, provide them with some school supplies, and encourage them to focus on their academic achievement, diligence, and hard work.

On this occasion, the Governor of Farwaniya praised the role of Kuwait Finance House, highlighting its contributions, participation, and sponsorship of back-to-school events. He noted that this initiative helps create an encouraging environment for students at the beginning of the academic year and reflects the bank’s commitment to supporting the education sector.

For her part, Amani Al-Wara’, Deputy General Manager of the Corporate Communications Sector at the bank, stated: “The bank’s participation and sponsorship of back-to-school visits align with its role in supporting education and society at large, within the framework of the comprehensive KFH program for sponsoring diverse activities and events organized by Kuwait’s governorates and civil society institutions.”
