Kuwait reaffirms its firm belief in the values of peace, dialogue, and tolerance

The State of Kuwait reaffirmed its firm belief in the values of peace, dialogue, and tolerance, and its rejection of violence in all its forms. It also reiterated its steadfast adherence to a consistent approach that prioritizes dialogue, de-escalation, and the peaceful resolution of conflicts.

In a statement issued on Monday to mark the International Day of Peace, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that this stance is grounded in Kuwait’s commitment to the United Nations Charter and the principles of international law, contributing to the enhancement of security and stability and the building of bridges of understanding and rapprochement among peoples.

The ministry added that the State of Kuwait renews its commitment to continuing its support for multilateral international efforts, strengthening cooperation and coordination with the United Nations and the international community, and backing initiatives aimed at safeguarding international peace and security and entrenching a culture of peace.
