Prince's Representative Meets Austrian President in New York

His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, met with His Excellency Alexander Van der Bellen, President of the Federal Republic of Austria, at the President’s residence in New York City on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly. The meeting was held on behalf of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of the State of Kuwait.

At the outset of the meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir to the Austrian President, wishing him good health and well-being, and expressing hopes for continued progress and prosperity for the Federal Republic of Austria and its friendly people.

The meeting focused on discussing the bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the Federal Republic of Austria, and ways to develop them in a manner that serves the interests of both countries and their friendly peoples. The two sides also discussed the latest developments on the regional and international scenes.

Attending the meeting were Sheikh Jeraf Al-Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Sheikh Dr. Meshal Al-Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; H.E. Ambassador Mansour Ayyad Al-Otaibi; H.E. Ambassador Tariq Muhammad Al-Bunai, Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations; and H.E. Major General Ahmad Abdulrahman Al-Dai, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince.
