Minister of Justice: "Bader Wiyana" provided opportunities for 344 trainees from "Al-Qaseer" to assume responsibility
Justice Minister and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for the Affairs of Minors, Counselor Nasser Al-Samit, honored on Sunday the minors participating in the fourth season of the "Bader Weena" project, organized by the Authority under the patronage and in the presence of the Justice Minister, as part of the government program for family protection.
In a speech delivered on the occasion, Minister Al-Samit stated that the "Bader Weena" project embodies the Authority's commitment to investing in the capabilities of its wards, the minors under its care, and providing them with opportunities to acquire the experiences and skills that enable them to build their futures with confidence and competence. He noted that the project has been supported from the accounts of the "Thirds of Charity" (Al-Thuluth Al-Khairiyyah) managed by the Authority, in accordance with the wills and wishes of the testators.
He added that the success of this project represents a significant collaborative effort between the Authority and the participating and supporting entities, reflecting "the importance of concerted efforts to provide a training and practical environment that allows our children to gain close familiarity with the requirements of professional life and to undertake a genuine practical experience during the summer vacation period."
Al-Samit explained that the project provided an opportunity for 344 male and female trainees to take on responsibility, adhere to time and task commitments, interact with the work environment, communicate with others, and work within teams, thereby helping them transition confidently from the classroom to the horizons of professional life.
He expressed his sincere gratitude to all entities, partners, and sponsors who contributed to the success of the "Bader Weena" project, as well as to everyone who exerted effort in training and following up with the participants.
For her part, Acting Director General of the Authority, Alia Al-Saqar, stated in a similar speech that the "Bader Weena" project believes in the importance of harnessing the energies of minor boys and girls and giving them the opportunity to experience work, acquire skills and experience, and strengthen their sense of responsibility and commitment.
Al-Saqar noted that the project participants demonstrated excellence and commitment, serving as an honorable model of diligence and effort. She pointed out that the project witnessed a notable expansion in the number of participating entities, which reached 20, and that the number of participants increased compared to previous years.
She commended the efforts of the participating and supporting entities, emphasizing the importance of continuing cooperation and community partnerships to enhance opportunities for developing the skills of minors and utilizing their capabilities in various fields.
