48 Quran Memorizers Honored

Mohammed Al-Khalidi, Assistant Undersecretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Education, emphasized the importance of reinforcing religious and educational values and entrenching the place of the Book of Allah in the hearts of those working in the educational field. He commended the efforts of the participants and the role of the competition in encouraging educational staff to continue memorizing and reciting the Quran.

He made these remarks in a statement to KUNA on Saturday, on the occasion of the closing ceremony of the eighth edition of the “Abdullah Al-Mutawa” Competition for Memorization and Recitation of the Holy Quran, organized by the Distinguished Teachers Association and under the patronage of Education Minister Jalal Al-Taptibai. The ceremony honored 48 male and female teachers in recognition of their participation and efforts in the competition.

Al-Khalidi appreciated the Ministry of Education’s commitment to supporting Quranic initiatives and recognizing the efforts of educational staff in areas that contribute to developing faith and moral dimensions. He affirmed the ministry’s dedication to continuing its support for programs that promote authentic values and enrich the educational environment.
