Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Discusses Developments in the File of Missing Kuwaitis with UN Representative

Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jeraf Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah met on Sunday with Maria Yamasita, the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Representative for the Implementation of Security Council Resolution 2792 (2025) concerning the follow-up on the file of Kuwaiti missing persons and nationals of third countries, and the return of Kuwaiti property, including the National Archives. The meeting took place at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting discussed efforts aimed at achieving tangible progress in the search for Kuwaiti missing persons and nationals of third countries, determining their fate, and recovering Kuwaiti property, including the National Archives.
