U.S. President Donald Trump said on Sunday that the options on the table are now limited to “destroying Iran, leaving it to rot economically, or reaching a deal.” In an interview with Fox News, Trump stated, “I am currently in the decision-making position, and very significant things will happen in the very near future regarding Iran,” adding that Washington stands on the brink of major and important moves in the immediate future. Trump further said, “The question I am posing is when, and whether I will completely blow up Iran… It would be better for them to behave properly,” emphasizing that Iran’s current behavior is pushing toward unprecedented steps.
