700,000 Captagon pills seized following security cooperation between Kuwait and Iraq

The General Directorate for Drug Control successfully seized 700,000 tablets of Captagon, a psychotropic substance, as a result of security cooperation between Kuwait and Iraq and coordinated efforts to combat drugs and apprehend those involved. The Ministry of Interior stated that the operation led to the arrest of one Iraqi national and another individual residing illegally, at a farm in the Kabd area, with the seized quantity in their possession. Upon confrontation, they admitted that the drugs belonged to them and were intended for trafficking. The ministry added, “They have been referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal action against them.”
