Saudi Arabia: Early warning issued in Jeddah, Taif, Yanbu, Al-Ula, and Khamis Mushait

The General Directorate of Civil Defense in Saudi Arabia announced that an alert has been issued via the National Early Warning Platform for emergencies in Jeddah, Taif, Yanbu, Al-Ajyal, and Khamis Mushait. The Directorate called on citizens and residents to adhere to safety guidelines upon receiving warning messages from the “National Early Warning Platform” during emergencies, emphasizing the importance of following instructions issued by the relevant authorities through official channels. The Directorate clarified that recipients of warning messages should remain calm and immediately move to the nearest safe location, whether inside a building or in an interior room away from windows, and stay there until the danger has passed, without leaving the home or building until it is confirmed that the emergency situation has ended.
