Interior Ministry: Detained two vehicles whose drivers endangered road users

The General Traffic Department, represented by the Security Supervision Directorate, apprehended two suspects after monitoring video footage documenting their reckless and negligent driving, which endangered their own lives, the lives of other road users, and their property. The Ministry of Interior stated via its account on the “X” platform that the suspects were apprehended following the necessary investigations and the identification of their identities. Legal proceedings were initiated against them, and they were referred to the Central Prison. Additionally, the two vehicles involved in the incidents were impounded in accordance with the prescribed legal procedures. The General Traffic Department warned that endangering lives and property will be met with strict enforcement of the law without leniency, and that its efforts to monitor, apprehend, and hold accountable those committing acts of recklessness and negligence will continue to ensure the safety of road users.
