Pakistani Army: We will go to the furthest extent in defending Saudi Arabia

The spokesperson for the Pakistani army affirmed that his country “will go to the furthest extent in defending Saudi Arabia,” as the terrorist Houthi militia targets the Kingdom with missiles and drones. In an interview with Arab News, Pakistani army spokesperson Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry stated, “We will go to the furthest extent for the security of the Two Holy Mosques and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.” Chaudhry added, “Pakistan stands fully alongside the Kingdom, both diplomatically and militarily.” Last month, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey signed the “Mecca Agreement for Collective Defense,” which obligates the three countries to the principle of mutual defense in the event any of them is attacked. This agreement came against the backdrop of the war between the United States and Iran, and Houthi attacks in the region.
