Interior Ministry: Suspect arrested in drug trafficking case; 800 narcotic tablets found in his possession

The Criminal Security Sector, represented by the General Directorate for Drug Control – International Control Department, successfully apprehended a suspect of Bangladeshi nationality in a case involving the trafficking of narcotic substances and psychotropic effects. The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement on Friday that 800 papers soaked with the chemical substance, two liquid ampoules of the chemical substance, and two precision scales were seized. It was determined that the seized items were in the possession of the suspect with the intent to trade and consume them. The ministry added that the suspect and the seized items were referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal action against him.
