Apple launches Apple TV service in Kuwait for the first time

Apple has announced the launch of its Apple TV service in Kuwait for the first time, as part of a new expansion of its iCloud+ service. This move allows subscribers to access the platform’s content without additional fees on their new subscription. According to Apple’s official announcement, iCloud+ subscribers in Kuwait will be able to access Apple TV and Apple Arcade as part of their subscription, with the service set to roll out during September.

Apple TV will enable users in Kuwait to watch a selection of Apple Originals, including the series Ted Lasso, The Studio, and Severance, alongside films, documentaries, and children’s and family programming.

iCloud+ subscription prices in Kuwait start at $0.99 per month for the 50GB storage plan, with options available for larger storage capacities.

Apple clarified that Apple TV and Apple Arcade will not be available as standalone subscriptions in Kuwait following the launch of the new bundle. Meanwhile, existing subscribers will continue to access the service through their iCloud+ subscription.

The bundle also includes access to more than 200 games via Apple Arcade, in addition to storage, privacy, and family sharing features, with the option to share an iCloud+ subscription with up to five family members.

With this expansion, Apple TV is now available in 170 countries and regions worldwide, after being added to 59 new markets, including Kuwait.
