268 police officers join the security field

Deputy Minister of Interior Lieutenant General Abdulwahab Al-Wahib emphasized the need to make every effort to serve Kuwait, safeguard its security, and uphold discipline. He made these remarks during the graduation ceremony for the 96th cohort of the Police Academy, comprising 268 students who were commissioned as police officers on Wednesday, following their completion of the prescribed academic and training programs, which included security and field exercises.

In a press statement issued by the Ministry of Interior, Deputy Minister Al-Wahib stressed to the graduates the importance of adhering to the law and discipline, assuming responsibility, and making every effort to serve the nation and protect the security and safety of citizens and residents. He wished them success in their security careers.

The statement noted that top-performing students were honored and certificates were distributed to the graduates in an atmosphere reflecting pride in the addition of a new cohort to the ranks of the Ministry of Interior.

Attending the graduation ceremony were Deputy Minister for Auxiliary Security Services Lieutenant General Fawaz Al-Rumai, Director General of the Education and Training Sector Colonel Khalid Al-Humaidi, Director General of the Special Security Forces and Correctional Institutions Sector Colonel Dakhil Al-Dakhil, Director General of the Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences Colonel Asam Al-Shammari, and several other security officials.
