Kuwaiti-German talks address de-escalation efforts in the region

Foreign Minister Sheikh Jaraah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah met today, Wednesday, with the Federal Republic of Germany’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Johann Wadephul, during the latter’s official visit to the German capital, Berlin. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the meeting reviewed the close ties between the two friendly countries and reaffirmed both sides’ commitment to intensifying Kuwait-German coordination across all fields and strengthening bilateral cooperation frameworks in various areas, reflecting the robustness of the distinguished relations between the two countries and advancing them toward broader horizons in the interest of their shared objectives. The statement noted that the two sides discussed recent developments in regional and international affairs and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, foremost among them the developments in the region and diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalation and enhancing security and stability.
