The Coalition: Saudi Air Defense intercepted and destroyed a drone that attempted to enter the airspace of Makkah al-Mukarramah

The coalition supporting Yemen’s legitimate government announced that it intercepted an enemy drone south of the holy city of Mecca on Tuesday evening. Coalition spokesperson Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki affirmed that the security of the Two Holy Mosques and the safety of the pilgrims constitute a “red line,” stressing that any Houthi attempt to target Mecca would remain a black mark in their record of violations.
