King Fahd Road fully closed from First Ring Road intersection

The Ministry of Public Works and the General Traffic Department announced the complete closure of King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Road (Al-Maghrib Road), from the intersection with First Sabah Road (First Ring Road) for a distance of 300 meters, to carry out asphalt maintenance work. The closure will begin at 12:00 midnight on Tuesday, September 15, and will continue until Sunday, September 20. The General Traffic Department clarified that the closure covers the section of the road from the First Ring Road intersection to the Khalid Yusuf Al-Marzouq Street intersection (Second Ring Road) for traffic coming from Kuwait City towards Al-Ahmadi, while keeping the side road at the first intersection open for traffic coming from the First Ring Road (Sheraton Roundabout) towards King Fahd Road. The relevant authorities called on drivers to comply with traffic officers' instructions and use alternative routes during the closure period.
