Saudi Arabia: Early warning issued in Mecca, Taif, and Jeddah

Saudi Civil Defense announced on Tuesday the activation of emergency early warnings in Mecca, Taif, and Jeddah to alert the public to an imminent threat. The Saudi General Directorate of Civil Defense urged citizens and residents to follow necessary guidelines upon receiving warning messages from the National Early Warning Platform in emergency situations. It emphasized the importance of remaining calm, adhering to official instructions, and immediately moving to the nearest safe location, either inside a building or in an interior room away from windows, and staying there until the danger has passed. Later, Saudi Civil Defense announced that the threat had subsided in Mecca, Taif, and Jeddah.
