Kuwait: We support Saudi Arabia's measures to safeguard its sovereignty and preserve its security

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the Houthi militia’s attacks on civilian infrastructure and civilians in the cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Taif in the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, using ballistic missiles and drones. These attacks resulted in injuries to several civilians and caused material damage to residential homes and vehicles, constituting a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a breach of international law and international humanitarian law. The Ministry affirmed Kuwait’s absolute solidarity with the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its steadfast support alongside the Kingdom, and its backing of all measures undertaken by the Kingdom to safeguard its sovereignty, preserve its security, stability, and interests, and protect its population and residents on its territory. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of the security of the State of Kuwait and the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
