The Coalition: 13 civilians injured, 7 homes and two vehicles damaged in Houthi militia attacks

The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced on Tuesday morning that 13 civilians sustained minor and moderate injuries, and that seven residential homes and two vehicles were damaged as a result of attacks by the Houthi terrorist militia on three Saudi cities. The Coalition’s spokesperson, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, stated that on Monday, the militia carried out attacks on civilian targets in the cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Taif, using ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles. In a statement, Al-Maliki affirmed that the continuation of these deliberate and repeated attacks demonstrates the militia’s terrorist approach and extremist ideology, which seek escalation and target civilians and civilian infrastructure. He emphasized that the Coalition leadership would respond to these attacks with responsibility and firmness to protect the sovereignty of the Kingdom, as well as civilians and civilian objects, in accordance with Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, the principle of self-defense, international humanitarian law, and its customary rules. Al-Maliki further noted that the Coalition leadership would take all necessary operational measures to deter this terrorist militia and counter its hostile and extremist approach.
