Al-Tatbiqi: Leveraging China’s Experience in Technology and Innovation
A delegation of students from the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training (PAAET) visited a number of leading universities, educational institutions, companies, and factories in the cities of Shenzhen and Shanghai during an educational and technical visit to the People’s Republic of China, as part of the cooperation between PAAET and the Chinese Embassy in Kuwait.
In a press statement on Monday, PAAET said that the visit by the distinguished delegation of students from the College of Technological Studies, led by Dr. Bashar Al-Zwair, included observing advanced educational, technological, and industrial experiences, and closely examining the latest applications in the fields of technology, innovation, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, robotics, automation, and smart manufacturing.
The statement added that the visit program included field tours at several major Chinese institutions and companies, including Huawei, BYD, and Robotic, where students learned about the nature of work, the technologies used, production lines, and modern applications, as well as the rapid development witnessed by these sectors in technology and industry.
It noted that the delegation visited several universities and educational institutions, observing the educational, training, research, and innovation environment, and learning about academic and practical experiences that contribute to preparing specialized cadres and supplying the labor market with future skills.
PAAET emphasized that this visit comes within the framework of its interest in providing distinguished educational and practical experiences for its students and connecting them with the latest global practices, thereby enhancing their knowledge and skills and broadening their scientific and professional horizons.
The statement quoted the delegation’s students expressing their appreciation for this experience, which provided them with the opportunity to learn about various aspects of the Chinese experience and to observe practical applications of the knowledge and skills they acquire in their specialties.
