Kuwait Promotes Its Tourism Assets and Opportunities

With a unified tourism brand and a vision aimed at strengthening its presence on the global travel map, Kuwait presents itself as a destination that combines cultural, recreational, and maritime assets, opening new horizons for investment in the tourism sector. In this context, Kuwait launched its external tourism presence under the “Visit Kuwait” identity through its participation in the Arabian Travel Market 2026 in Dubai, which runs until September 17.
Deputy Minister of Information Dr. Nasser Muhaisen emphasized that Kuwait’s participation in the exhibition aligns with the ministry’s strategy to enhance the country’s presence on regional and international tourism maps and to consolidate its status as a destination with diverse assets and abundant opportunities for development and investment.
Muhaisen stated that strengthening the “Visit Kuwait” tourism identity represents an important step toward presenting Kuwait as a unified and integrated tourism destination. He noted that the Ministry of Information is working to unify promotional efforts and highlight the country’s assets, thereby raising awareness of Kuwait as a tourist destination and attracting more visitors from target markets.
He added that the significance of participating in a specialized event of the scale of Arabian Travel Market extends beyond promotional and media aspects. It also involves direct engagement with decision-makers and specialists in the tourism and travel sectors, staying abreast of the latest trends in the tourism industry, and exploring opportunities for cooperation and partnerships that could positively impact the growth of Kuwait’s tourism sector.
Muhaisen underscored the importance of integration between government entities and the private sector in supporting tourism. He pointed out that the presence of Kuwait Airways and the Kuwait Hotel Owners Association within the national pavilion reflects the desire to present an integrated tourism system that begins with destination promotion, continues through air transport, and concludes with accommodation and hospitality services.
