Saudi Foreign Minister: Gulf States Will Not Accept Attacks on Their Territories Under Any Pretext

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan affirmed that Gulf states will not accept attacks on their territories under any pretext, warning that ongoing escalation in the region contributes to broadening the scope of confrontation and threatening regional security and stability. Prince Faisal stressed that the security of the Arabian Gulf can only be stabilized through respect for state sovereignty and non-interference in territorial integrity, emphasizing that the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is “inviolable.” He noted that continued escalation and the expansion of the confrontation circle exacerbate security risks in the region, calling for respect for state sovereignty and efforts to avoid further tension and escalation. The Saudi Foreign Minister also affirmed that stability in the Gulf region is not merely a regional concern, but is directly linked to the security of the global economy and the safety of trade and energy flows, given the region’s strategic importance to the international economy.
