Head of the Arts Department at Loyak Academy: Our goal is to invest in talents and competencies

Lebanese-Canadian visual artist and head of the Arts Department at the Loya Academy of Performing Arts (LAPA), Zina Dabbous, affirmed that LAPA’s philosophy is based on investing in talents and competencies capable of growth, by building an artistic and educational environment that leverages both local and international expertise. In a media statement, Dabbous expressed her pride in her experience overseeing the Kids Art Academy program, saying, “One of the experiences I am most proud of at LAPA is working with children, because teaching art to a child is not just about teaching them to draw or use colors, but helping them discover their imagination, build their personality, and develop their expressive abilities.” She noted that 2026 will see new artistic milestones in her career, with her continued presence at several international art exhibitions and platforms. She added that she is currently preparing to participate in a new art exhibition in Paris next October, in addition to having her works selected for publication in the international art book “The World Art Guide Book,” scheduled for release at the end of the year.
