Reuters: Iraq closes border area with Iran after discovering drone launch sites

Two Iraqi military sources told Reuters that Iraqi authorities have closed the Tayeb border crossing with Iran after discovering sites used for launching drones. This comes after the agency earlier reported, citing two security sources, that Iraq ordered the closure of the Shalamcheh border crossing with Iran as a precautionary measure following drone attacks that targeted Saudi Arabia. The two sources indicated that a wide-ranging operation is underway to track down those responsible for the attack on Saudi Arabia. Riyadh had announced on Friday that the East-West oil pipeline had been hit by drones launched from Iraq.
