Ministry of Education: The issuance of military uniforms by one of the school administrations was an individual act

The Ministry of Education clarified that, under the directives of Minister of Education Sayyid Jalal Al-Tabatabai, it has begun taking the necessary administrative and legal measures regarding an incident involving a post by one of the school administrations, which included “instructions concerning the military uniform for parents when visiting the school.” The Ministry confirmed that the incident has been referred to administrative investigation to ascertain the circumstances and hold those responsible accountable in accordance with applicable regulations and bylaws. The relevant school administration was also directed to remove the post immediately.

The Ministry of Education stressed that what was issued in this regard constitutes an individual action by the school administration and does not represent a policy or decision issued by the Ministry. It clarified that the Comprehensive Regulatory Bylaw for Education is the recognized reference governing operations in schools. The Ministry further emphasized the necessity for all school administrations to comply with the provisions of the Comprehensive Regulatory Bylaw for Education, as well as with official and approved decisions and circulars issued by the Ministry, and to adhere to the frameworks and controls regulating school operations. They must not create new rules, engage in independent interpretation, or issue any instructions or controls individually without referring to the competent authorities within the Ministry of Education.

The Ministry of Education expressed its pride and appreciation for members of the military and security agencies, commending their national role and the sincere efforts they contribute to serving the State of Kuwait and safeguarding its security and stability. It prayed to God Almighty to protect Kuwait, its Amir, its Crown Prince, and its people from all harm.
