"Al-Kuwaitiya": Temporary suspension of air cargo movement for all companies and agents until September 25

The cargo division of Kuwait Airways Company issued an official circular stipulating a restriction on cargo movement for all agents from September 9 to September 25, 2026, due to measures taken to address operational congestion. The circular, addressed to airlines dealing with the cargo division, clarified that consignments delivered by agents will not be accepted at the cargo building until after September 25, with planning for their transfer to commence once the existing congestion is resolved. The circular exempted special cargo categories and pure express mail shipments, which will continue to undergo processing and export transportation as usual, alongside the continued acceptance of “RFS” shipments without change.
