Deputy Commander of the National Guard meets with senior commanders and officers: New organizational structure adopts principles of justice and equal opportunity
National Guard Deputy Commander Lieutenant General Hamad Al-Burjiss confirmed on Wednesday that the new organizational structure of the National Guard is based on the principles of justice, transparency, and equal opportunity, in accordance with standards of specialization, competence, and the ability to perform tasks and responsibilities. This approach aims to place the right person in the right position, enhance performance levels, and strengthen the efficiency of the work system.
In a press statement, the National Guard noted that this announcement came during a meeting held with senior commanders and officers of the National Guard, marking the adoption of its new organizational structure. The meeting was attended by the Assistant for Financial Affairs and Human Resources Management, Brigadier General Riad Tawari. The gathering was part of the leadership’s commitment to direct communication with leaders and officers, and to strengthening institutional work in line with the requirements of the next phase in the National Guard’s development.
Lieutenant General Al-Burjiss explained during the meeting that the development of the organizational structure is part of a comprehensive vision aimed at enhancing institutional work, improving coordination among various units, and clearly defining jurisdictions and responsibilities.
He emphasized that competence, expertise, and specialization are fundamental pillars in assigning responsibilities and assuming positions. “The next phase requires continuing to work with a spirit of teamwork, leveraging the experiences and human resources abundant within the National Guard, while encouraging talents to pursue continuous development and acquire additional expertise and skills,” he said.
Lieutenant General Al-Burjiss pointed out that assuming leadership positions entails responsibility and trust, requiring adherence to discipline and a commitment to performing duties with maximum competence and capability. He urged officers to serve as role models in discipline, commitment, and accountability, placing the interests of the National Guard and the service of the nation above all else.
He conveyed congratulations from the National Guard leadership to those assuming their new positions, wishing them success and achievement in fulfilling their responsibilities.
