Four Indians arrested for using a house in Al-Abdali as a base for producing local alcohol

The Criminal Security Sector, represented by the General Directorate of Criminal Investigations – Al Jahra Governorate Criminal Investigations Department, arrested four Indian nationals on suspicion of operating a clandestine distillery in a desert area on the Abdali Road, which was being used for the production, storage, and sale of locally produced alcohol.

Investigations and surveillance led to the identification of the site used by the suspects as a base for manufacturing and storing local alcohol. Subsequently, a raid was conducted on the location, resulting in the arrest of three suspects caught in the act of production. The fourth suspect was apprehended upon his arrival at the site to purchase a quantity of local alcohol for resale.

A search of the premises yielded 236 plastic bottles filled with local alcohol, ready for sale, along with a large number of barrels and raw materials used in the production process, as well as a sum of money.

Upon interrogation, the three suspects admitted to using the site for the production, storage, and sale of local alcohol away from public view. The fourth suspect admitted to purchasing local alcohol for resale. It was also revealed that three of the suspects were wanted under arrest warrants, including charges of fraud and swindling.

Appropriate legal measures have been taken against the suspects, and coordination with the Kuwait Municipality has been established to dismantle the illegal site.
