Saudi Civil Defense: Early Warning Sirens Activated in Khamis Mushait and Abha

Saudi Civil Defense announced the activation of an alert via the National Early Warning Platform for Emergency Situations in the provinces of Khamis Mushait and the city of Abha to warn of danger, urging the public to follow the instructions and guidelines issued in this regard. It emphasized the importance of remaining calm and adhering to directives from the relevant authorities, and immediately seeking shelter in the nearest safe location inside buildings or interior rooms away from windows, staying there until the danger has passed, without going out to open areas during the warning period. It also called for staying away from glass, balconies, and rooftops, and instructed those outdoors to take shelter in the nearest building or behind a solid barrier, while stressing the need to avoid crowds, refrain from filming, and stay away from hazardous sites.
