Kuwait strongly condemns and denounces the reprehensible Iranian attacks targeting Jordan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait’s strong condemnation and deep outrage at the reprehensible Iranian attacks that targeted the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan with a number of missiles, which constitute a blatant violation of its sovereignty and a flagrant breach of the principles of international law, the UN Charter, and Security Council Resolution 2817. In a statement issued today, Wednesday, the Ministry emphasized the necessity of halting these attacks, prioritizing de-escalation and dialogue, and adhering to the rules of international law to safeguard the region’s security and stability and to spare its peoples further tension and escalation. It reaffirmed Kuwait’s full solidarity with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and its support for all measures undertaken by Jordan to protect its sovereignty and ensure its security and stability.
