Hussain Al Jassmi and Tamer Ashour inaugurate "Laylat Omar 2026"

The “Laylat Omar 2026” festival returns to Kuwait’s artistic scene with a new edition, featuring a series of musical concerts that will bring together a select group of the most prominent Arab singing stars, building on the successes the festival has achieved in previous seasons across Kuwait, the Gulf region, and the Arab world. The first concert of the new season will kick off on October 2 at the Kuwait Arena, with a musical evening featuring stars Hussain Al Jassmi and Tamer Ashour, bringing together two distinct musical styles. During the evening, the two stars will perform a selection of their most famous songs, along with several tracks they will present for the first time to the Kuwaiti audience.

Abdulaziz Al-Zaidi, chairman of the board of Laylat Omar company and producer and organizer of the festival, emphasized the company’s commitment to providing all necessary artistic and organizational resources to ensure the concert meets the high standards befitting the festival and its audience. He noted the use of the latest sound, lighting, and visual effects technologies to deliver a comprehensive musical experience. Al-Zaidi also revealed strong public interest in tickets for the opening concert, which were released two days ago via the Kuwait Arena website.

For his part, Badr Al-Safi, director of artistic vision and creativity at the festival, stated that “Laylat Omar” aims to continue the successes achieved in previous concerts, reaffirming the company’s aspiration to deliver large-scale concerts that meet advanced artistic and organizational standards, combining high production quality, powerful performances, and modern visual technologies.
