Saudi Arabia: Sirens sounded in Jazan, Najran, and Abha to warn of danger

Saudi Civil Defense announced the activation of an alert via the National Early Warning System for Emergency Situations in the Jazan region to warn of danger. It also announced the sounding of air-raid sirens in Najran and Abha to warn of danger, urging the public to follow the instructions and guidelines issued on this matter. It emphasized the importance of remaining calm and adhering to the directives issued by the competent authorities, and immediately moving to the nearest safe location inside buildings or interior rooms away from windows, and staying there until the danger has passed, without going out to open areas during the warning period. It also called for staying away from glass, balconies, and rooftops, and asked those outdoors to take shelter in the nearest building or behind a solid barrier, while stressing the need to avoid crowding, refrain from filming, and stay away from hazardous sites.
