Kuwait: Saudi security is an integral part of our security

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed today, Tuesday, the State of Kuwait’s strong condemnation and rejection of the Houthi militia’s attacks that targeted civilian and economic infrastructure in several cities of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, resulting in the injury of dozens of civilians, including women and children. These attacks constitute a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty, a direct threat to the security and safety of its citizens and residents, a breach of international law and international humanitarian law, and a serious and unjustified escalation that undermines regional security and stability.
In a statement, the Ministry also condemned the Houthi militia’s continued targeting of commercial vessels in the Red Sea, which poses a direct threat to the safety of maritime navigation, global energy supplies, and international trade.
The Ministry affirmed the State of Kuwait’s absolute solidarity with the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its steadfast support alongside the Kingdom, as well as its backing of all measures undertaken by the Kingdom to safeguard its sovereignty, preserve its security and stability, protect its interests, and ensure the safety of its people and residents. It emphasized that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of the security of the State of Kuwait and the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
